COMMISSIONERS FOR OATHS
Commissioner for Oaths Services.
Commissioner for Oaths services are available 24 hours by calling us toll free at 1-888-458-2437 and are provided by persons authorized by the Alberta Department of Justice in accordance with the Commissioners for Oaths Act of the Province of Alberta.

- The Kucher Services Corporation does not have a Notary Public. If your paperwork requires a Notary Public, we are unable to provide this service. If your paperwork is not being filed within Alberta, you will likely need to see a Notary Public as a Commissioner for Oaths may not be recognized outside the province. Please confirm that a Commissioner for Oaths is acceptable prior to bringing your paperwork to the Commissioner.
- We are unable to provide any legal advice. If you have any questions regarding the meaning of the paperwork or how to properly complete it, you should consult a lawyer.
- Please do not sign the document(s) before meeting with the Commissioner. It is preferred that you sign the document(s) in the presence of the Commissioner at the time the oath is administered.
- Please bring a piece of picture identification to verify your identity.
- If you paperwork has exhibits (such as those for court purposes), you must present them to the Commissioner.
- If your paperwork requires a witness to your signature and the affidavit of execution requires the witness to say they he or she "personally knows you", you must supply a witness who knows you personally when you meet with the Commissioner.
- If, at any time, the Commissioner for Oaths is unsure of the documentation provided or is uncomfortable with administering the oath, he/she reserves the right to refuse this service.
